I’m sorry but you just can’t step to this line up…it’s coming! Sooo soon. If you’ve never been I promise it will change your life!!! And I’m kind of an expert at these things…
Wow it’s been a year since I’ve entered by blogosphere…my bad!!! Things got a little busy. What with shooting a travel show, working on my nest, and just overall having a good time and living in the moment. But have no fear I’m back people. Spring is a time of new beginnings and inspiration so the other night I decided to create my first ever vision board. Recently I’ve been working towards embracing that rather daunting period of time we call limbo… when something has ended and nothing else has begun. In the past I’ve found this to be an anxiety ridden moment when all I want to do is control and know what is coming next. Where will I be? What will I do? In the past I’ve spent so much time worrying, that I’m unable to enjoy the incredible liberation of the unknown and just go with the flow. Learning how to revel in the moment, unknowing of what the future will bring, is one of the hardest yet sweetest pleasures to capture. In my own experience recently I found that the minute I let go and enjoyed the fact that the possibilities are endless, life is beautiful, and the void is a time for rest and inspiration, I was transformed. And you know what? The moment I really let go was when the next amazing project fell in to my lap. Don’t get me wrong I wasn’t sitting about all willy nilly doing nothing. I was manifesting and conjuring…really getting in touch with what my ideal year or the next few years would look like. Reaching out to people that could assist in the process. When the slate is blank are truly able to envision the life of your dreams. That’s were the board came in. Taking clippings from magazines, finding images on the web that represented my desires, making lists of the projects and relationships I wanted to focus on in my life. The result is the picture you see above. There are many facets to it. Things I wish for my enrichment like surfing, yoga, and the uke. Then there’s professional dreams…more music, tv, radio, music festivals, boutique hotels. And then there’s the personal stuff like my home, lifestyle, and relationships. Even silly things like, hey I want my own personally designed custom bohemian lady haven airstream trailer. If you dream it it can be!!! So here’s to Spring and embracing the silence and calm when you have it, watering your dreams so that when the time is right they can fully blossom into awesome. Cheers April!!! I’m liking you so far!!!
